WARRANTY DETAILS

Every Wicked Fly rod is carefully inspected prior to shipment. If any defect in workmanship should appear, simply send the rod or blank to us and it will be repaired or replaced. All rods should be registered on wkdfly.com within the first 30 days of purchase. Those who purchased rods prior to July 25, 2024, should reach out to our customer service team to verify purchase and register their rod. Failure to do so shall void this warranty agreement.

Upon receipt of a completed online registration, Wicked Fly warrants its graphite fly rods against breakage due to defects in materials, manufacturing or workmanship for a period of 25 years, if the original purchaser retains ownership of the rod, ordinary wear and tear will not be considered under this agreement. This warranty shall be effective if the rod is purchased from an authorized Wicked Fly Rod & Reel Co. dealer or online at www.wkdfly.com and online registration is completed within 30 days of purchase.

This warranty only applies to the original owner of new graphite rods, purchased from an authorized dealer, and registered within 30 days of purchase and is not transferrable if the rod is resold.

Unregistered or resold rods are not covered by this warranty. Rods purchased from third-party sites, including but not limited to, eBay or Amazon are not covered by the warranty.

This warranty does not cover loss or theft, or damage caused by use for other than its intended purpose, intentional breakage, or abuse or neglect in the use, transport or storage of the rod. It does not include damage caused by others through attempted modifications, customization, or repair of the finished rod, or damage caused by others during assembly of a blank into a finished rod. Any modification and/or repair other than by Wicked Fly will void your warranty. Discontinued cosmetic options and components may be replaced with their most comparable equivalent.

Unintentional breaks within the first year will be repaired or replaced for a fee of $70. Tip sections are available for a fee of $25. After the first year, depending on circumstance, we may offer a full replacement at a discount.

A return shipping, handling and mailing insurance charge will be applied to repairs. Warranty does not cover lost sections or lost rods. Original owner is responsible for the cost of sending in the rod to be repaired, with tracking and insurance coverage recommended.

Artisan Series Warranty

Every 1929 Artisan Series split cane rod comes with a warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid for the original owner only. Any modification and/or repair other than by Wicked Fly will void your warranty.
